Aurora gets elevated to the Supreme Court!
The Supreme Court grants a historic leave to appeal and takes up the issue raised to them by Aurora, the State and the District Court.
The Supreme Court will now consider a sub-question in the Aurora case. The question is whether it is possible to bring a climate case like the Aurora case in Swedish courts. The Supreme Court's answer to the question will be crucial for people's ability to demand that those in power respect their human rights and take the climate action they have promised to take.
